The 2nd Annual ESH Show Horse Championships is proudly promoted by the Emma's Show Horse Team. The aim is to provide a competitor and spectator friendly show encompassing class and prestige along with prizes and benefits for all entrants. Our 3rd Annual ESH Equine Trade Fair will also be partnering with the show allowing for individuals and companies to showcase their businesses on the day. We welcome everyone to be part of something new and exciting.

ESH CHAMPIONSHIPS - DOES IT COUNT...?

We are delighted to announce the confirmation received from the RAS that "The RAS of NSW welcomes Exhibitors to use a win at the ESH Show Horse Championships event as part of their performance submission for the Sydney Royal Horse Show." We are very thankful to the RAS for their support

TRADE FAIR:

Following the success of the ESH Trade Fair some two years ago we will be hosting another event on the day of the show.

The Fair will be held in the centre of the showground, surrounded by the performance rings. A central pedestrian walkway across

the showground will be established where the public can view the Fair and watch the competitor rings with ease. Initial Trade Fair information is available through the menu links above or Contact ESH.

THE JUDGES:-

In line with our aim we have chosen judges that are respected for their knowledge and beyond reproach in their fairness. There will be five judges all from various states of Australia. As judges are an integral part of the ESH Championships they are actively involved in bringing the Show together with their thoughts and suggestions. All of our Judges have experience in judging at Royal Show & State Level and on the Australian Judges List. Judge's Profiles will be available online from July 2011.

ESH are now welcoming offers of sponsorship for our Championships with the return of Advertising Deals and Show Day promotions and benefits. If you would like to sponsor a class or a Championship final, please see the Sponship link above in our Main Menu. Sponsors receive free advertising on both the main Emma's Show Horses Website and also the Official ESH Championships Website for 6 - 12 months depending on the Sponsorship package chosen.

RINGMASTER & GROUND JURY:

We are delighted to have secured the highly experienced interstate Royal Show member Mr Dean Douglas as Ringmaster. He is a vital part of the team contributing greatly to the organisation. He will be the master of proceedings and control all rings. We will be appointing a small Ground Jury committee who will be responsible for general enquiries. We advise all competitors in advance that any holding of rings will be at the discretion of the Ringmaster after consultation with the applicable judge. We have made every effort in our programming to ensure there is minimal possibility of any classes clashing.

SHOW HORSE CHAMPIONSHIPS:

The Emmas Show Horse Championship will comprise of the First Place winners of each section and will compete for Champion under all 4 Judges. The Championship workouts will be available to all competitors once online entries have closed and they receive their electronic Show pack. This will also allow competitors the chance to familiarise themselves without the worry of the 'one the day' confusion or concern.

If you are part of a particular Breed society and would like to support our show with additional breed classes, please don't hesitate to contact us.

ANNOUNCER:

It is important to have clear and informative announcements made throughout the day and our announcer will be working hand in hand with our Ringmaster. We will also be having modern and motivational music gently playing providing a refreshing atmosphere

OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS

Lorelle Mercer will be the ESH official photographers for this event. Coverage will be in their respective print mediums and individual websites following the event as well as on the ESH website. We would encourage all competitors to support our photographers who will be giving up their time to capture your special moment.

REFRESHMENTS:

Let your tastebuds go wild with Hot and Cold beverages and delicious food available on site all day with ringside tables to enjoy your meal while you watch the events unfold. A variety of Food stalls will be onsite fo the duration of the Show.

FARRIER & FIRST AID:

A Farrier will be on duty at the show & the well known St Johns Ambulance team will also be in attendance.

MEASURING, SWABBING, VETS:

Measuring Certificates will be required with all Open Hacking entries Random Drug Swabbing will be taking place at this event by an established and well know local Vet Clinic which has been booked to be present at this event..

Over the last fifty years or so, the format of showing horses has changed very little. It's like the “Same show, Different date” feeling. With our show ring experience and the information that comes into the ESH Website through the Viewer Feedback, we have decided to run an entirely different Show. A Show designed to give the novice the chance of ribbons and the more experienced having to fight hard for top honours. All Junior Riders at this event will receive a prize, regardless of their placing.

We have organised this show in such a way that there will be no forgone conclusions. The Show will be conducted under ESH rules. All competitors must be a member of an official Hack or Breed Association to Enter. Proof of Memberships, Insurance and Horse Registration will be required.
